Mantis Robotics exhibited at Automate 2025, North America’s largest robotics and automation trade show, held this year from 12–15 May in Detroit, Michigan. The event brought together thousands of industry leaders, engineers, and innovators to explore the latest in automation technology, robotics, and AI.

At the show, Mantis Robotics showcased the MR-1 — our groundbreaking, high-speed, fenceless industrial robot powered by Physical AI. Designed for safe and dynamic collaboration with humans, MR-1 combines real-time motion planning, 360° spatial awareness, and speeds of up to 10 m/s, revolutionizing human-robot collaboration.

MR-1 is redefining what’s possible in automation, removing traditional barriers like fencing, high costs, and complex setups, and making advanced robotics accessible to more businesses than ever before.

A look back at some of our favorite moments:

Mantis Robotics believes safety shouldn’t come at the cost of performance for any robot. At its core is the patented Mantis STAR and SafetyCore system: a proprietary, fully integrated sensor suite and safety controller providing advanced 3D spatial intelligence and next-level autonomy for any high speed industrial robots.

At Automate 2025, Mantis Robotics introduced their platform-agnostic OEM safety solution, enabling efficient human-robot collaboration across diverse applications and robot types. Unlike other safety sensor technologies that are installed in a fixed position, Mantis SafetyCore dynamically compensates high-speed robot movement, up to 10 m/s for manipulators and 2 m/s for mobile robots.
