Robotics Control Engineer

This is the right opportunity for you if you:

  • Have extensive experience on robotics system modeling and control system development, including motion planning, kinematics, path planning, and linear/non-linear controls
  • Have designed and implemented real-time control algorithms for articulated robot systems
  • Have strong programming skills in C/C++ and Matlab
  • Are familiar with robot servo motors and basic communication protocols including TCP/IP, RS232
  • Know full life-cycle of custom electronics and associated software/firmware development for autonomous systems
  • Have strong analysis and hands-on troubleshooting skills and experience
  • Are a self-starter, able to perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision

Preferred qualifications:

  • Hands-on real-world experience with embedded processors, FPGAs, DSP/MCU, motors, sensors, or mechanisms
  • Familiar with industrial communication protocols including EtherCAT
  • In-depth knowledge of realtime industrial robotics motion control
  • Familiar with LEX/YACC
